I’m a Latinx Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and the owner of Wellness Therapist LLC, a private practice offering therapy, clinical consulting, and life/wellness coaching for individuals and groups. I’m licensed in Massachusetts and Maine and bring nearly two decades of experience working across diverse settings, from early childhood education to clinical research and direct psychotherapy.
I hold a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts-Boston (UMB) and a Master’s in Social Work, along with a Certificate in Child & Adolescent Trauma, both from Simmons College in Boston.
My clinical training includes practicums at the Latin American Health Institute and Massachusetts General Hospital’s (MGH) Chelsea Healthcare Center, where I worked with individuals navigating complex mental health and social challenges.
In my practice, I take a client-centered, collaborative, and evidence-based approach to help people manage stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, and trauma-related struggles. Over the years, I have provided therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, facilitated skills-based groups for teens and parents, and led coaching programs for adults.
My experience spans residential facilities, in-home services, outpatient care, and research-based clinical programs at institutions like Vinfen Corporation, Bay Cove Human Services, and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).
I founded Wellness Therapist LLC in 2016 to provide:
Individual therapy for adults
Group therapy for adults, parents, and adolescents
Consultation for clinical and research programs, community projects, and behavioral health providers
Life coaching for college students and adults
At the core of my work is a deep commitment to helping individuals heal, grow, and build meaningful lives.
I believe that through self-awareness, skill-building, and intentional change, people can break unhelpful patterns and move toward a life that aligns with their values.
My goal is to help clients connect the dots—between past experiences, present challenges, and future goals—so they can move forward with clarity and confidence.
